This age group is aimed towards players under the age of 10. Players start learning baseball and general sporting skills in fun focused sessions. Rookie Ballers are the first group to play the game of baseball.

Second year Senior League players have the opportunity to be assessed by the club and the regional development officer to play up into the Seniors division.
Senior players compete in the Cairns Baseball League (CBL) which consists of three divisions. Senior teams are chosen on ability as well as personal preference with Division 1 being the elite competition in Cairns. Divisions 2 & 3 are used as opportunities to develop seniors and juniors preparing them for the higher grades. Division 3 is also aimed at social- and new-to-baseball players.
Games are played at the Cairns Baseball fields in Trinity Beach on Sundays.
